NEW YORK, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Cory Luebke and four relievers combined on a three-hitter Thursday in helping the San Diego Padres to a 3-2 victory over the New York Mets.

Luebke allowed all three of the hits, including a two-run double by Lucas Duda in the third inning, but was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the top of the sixth with the score tied 2-2.

Anthony Bass, Chad Qualls, Luke Gregerson and Heath Bell each pitched one inning of no-hit relief with Qualls (6-6) getting the win and Bell his 32nd save.

Jon Niese (11-9) took the loss after giving up three runs -- with the third and decisive one coming on an error -- and seven hits in 7 2/3 innings. He walked two and struck out seven.

Cameron Maybin got the Padres on the board with a sixth-inning home run and San Diego tied the score in the seventh on Luis Martinez's two-out RBI single.

Maybin led off the Padres' eighth with a single and stole second. After a strike out, Jesus Guzman was intentionally walked. Kyle Blanks struck out but Maybin stole third and Guzman second.

Aaron Cunningham followed with a grounder to short that Ruben Tejada wasn't able to handle and Maybin scored on the error.
