ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Josh Hamilton capped a Texas rally with a game-winning RBI single Tuesday, handing the Rangers a 7-6 come-from-behind win over Seattle.
The Rangers had trailed 6-3 but scored in each of their last three innings to pull out the victory.
Ian Kinsler began the comeback with a two-run homer in the seventh and Yorvit Torrealba kept it going by delivering a game-tying RBI double in the eighth.
Then in the ninth, Kinsler drew a walk from Jeff Gray (0-1) and Endy Chavez singled before Hamilton blooped a hit into left-center field for the walk-off win.
Chavez socked hit a solo homer as the first-place Rangers improved to 10-2 against Seattle this season.
Adam Kennedy hit a two-run triple and an RBI single for the Mariners.
