BALTIMORE, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Alex Rios capped a two-run rally in the eighth inning with a go-ahead RBI single Monday and the Chicago White Sox edged Baltimore 7-6.
With the Sox trailing 6-5 entering the eighth, Paul Konerko began the comeback with a one-out walk from Jim Johnson (5-4). Brent Lillibridge came in to run and went to third on Carlos Quentin's single.
A.J. Pierzynski then drove in the tying run and sent Quentin to second with a sacrifice fly. Quentin scored on Rios' sharp grounder past third base.
Pierzynski also contributed a solo homer and a run-scoring single while Gordon Beckham added a two-run shot for the White Sox, who won their fourth straight.
Jesse Crain (6-3) picked up the victory despite allowing a three-run homer to J.J. Hardy in the seventh that gave Baltimore a 6-5 lead.
Sergio Santos collected his 23rd save with a 1-2-3 ninth for Chicago.
Hardy finished 3-for-4 with four RBI for the Orioles.
