SANDY, Utah, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Nat Borchers and Luis Gil scored first-half goals Saturday, staking Real Salt Lake to a 3-0 victory over Red Bull New York.
RSL (10-5-6) got all the scoring it would need when Borchers headed a Kyle Beckerman corner kick into the left side of the net in the 13th minute, leaving New York goalie Frank Rost without a chance.
