BLAINE, Minn., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Peter Senior's 5-under-par 67 Saturday enabled him to catch John Huston atop the leaderboard after two rounds of the 3M Championship in Minnesota.
Huston, who also was the co-leader after shooting an 8-under 64 Friday, fired five birdies and a bogey at TPC Twin Cities for a 68, finishing 36 holes at 12-under 132.
But Senior -- who has not won a senior tournament since joining the tour in 2009 -- also drained five birdies to grab a share of the lead.
Huston won the Dick's Sporting Goods Open this year and is coming off a ninth-place finish at the U.S. Senior Open Championship.
First round co-leader Jay Haas registered a 3-under 69 to take sole possession of third at 11-under 133.
Following in fourth were Mark Calcavecchia (68) and tour money leader Tom Lehman (69) at minus-10.
