Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Dwayne De Rosario scored three goals, including the equalizer in the 87th minute Saturday, lifting DC United into a 3-3 draw with Toronto FC.
D.C. United (6-6-9) went the length of the field and earned a penalty kick after a foul in the box, which De Rosario converted to complete his hat trick to forge the final score.
The goal came only one minute after Danny Koevermans' tally had put Toronto ahead 3-2.
De Rosario also scored in the 19th and 64th minutes and had a chance to win it in stoppage time in one-on-one duel with Toronto goalie Stefan Frei but chipped his shot wide of the post.
Peri Marosevic and Julian de Guzman got the other goals for Toronto (3-11-11).
