KITZBUHEL, Austria, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Robin Haase of The Netherlands beat Albert Montanes in three sets Saturday to win the Kitzbuhel Cup finals.

Haase broke serve five times en route to a 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 win and his first ATP career championship.

Haase, 24, is ranked 53rd in the world. His previous best finish was four years ago when he reached the semifinals in Amersfoort.

The loss foiled Montanes' bid for his first title of the year. He has 10 championship matches under his belt, all on clay.
