KITZBUHEL, Austria, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Albert Montanes upset top-seeded Juan Ignacio Chela in straight sets Friday, earning a spot in the finals of the Bet-at-Home Cup tournament in Austria.

Montanes ousted Chela 6-2, 7-5 in a match stopped twice by rain. Montanes, who won 52 percent of the points off Chela's serve, finished with six breaks over 10 receiving games.

Play was called for about an hour because of rain after the first set. The match was stopped again with Montanes about to serve down 3-4.

After a short delay, Montanes quickly won two games. He served for the match but was broken. However, he got his sixth break of the day to advance to Saturday's final.

Robin Haase needed three sets to get past qualifier Joao Souza, eventually winning his semifinal 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4. Haase blasted 14 aces without a double fault and lost just 17 points over 14 service games.

Montanes is looking for his sixth career ATP title. Haase, in his sixth professional season, is yet to win a tournament. It will be their first career meeting.

The Bet-at-Home Cup champion will earn $103,000 with the runner-up taking home $54,500. Chela and Souza each received $29,500 as semifinalists.
