Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SAN DIEGO, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- The San Diego Padres announced Wednesday pitcher Dustin Moseley had had season-ending shoulder surgery.
Team officials said Moseley was expected to recover in time for spring training in 2012.
He had made 20 starts this year, suffering from poor run support while compiling a 3-10 record. He had a 3.30 earned run average.
