SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Cody Ross and Orlando Cabrera each drove in three runs and Ryan Vogelsong stayed hot at home Wednesday in San Francisco's 8-1 rout of Arizona.
Ross and Cabrera each collected an RBI during a four-run third inning and each bashed a two-run double in the fifth for the Giants, who salvaged one win a three-game set against their National League West rival.
Vogelsong (9-1) raised his record at AT&T Park to 6-0 over his last 11 games, including 10 starts, limiting the Diamondbacks to one run on five hits over six innings.
The Giants re-established a one-game lead over the D-backs in the NL West.
The Arizona debut of Jason Marquis (8-6) was a rough one. The right-hander, obtained at the trade deadline from Washington, was rocked for eight runs (seven hits) on 10 hits before being yanked after four innings.
Pitcher Zach Duke drove in the D-backs' only run.
