MILWAUKEE, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Casey McGehee hit three home runs en route to a five-RBI game Wednesday in powering the Milwaukee Brewers to a 10-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.

McGehee hit a two-run home run in the first inning, added another two-run shot in the third and finished with a solo blast in seventh -- all off St. Louis starter Edwin Jackson. He has eight home runs this season.

Jackson (8-8) also allowed a long lead-off-home run to Corey Hart and ended up surrendering 10 runs (eight earned) and 14 hits in seven innings of work.

Randy Wolf (8-8) benefited from the offensive outburst and picked up the win, despite giving up five runs on nine hits in six innings.

St. Louis led twice in the game, taking a 1-0 lead in the first on David Freese's RBI single and, after Hart and McGehee made the score 3-1 Milwaukee, going ahead 4-3 the following inning on a three-run Rafael Furcal home run. It was his second of the year.

McGehee returned the lead to the Brewers in the third and Milwaukee went up 7-4 scoring on a groundout and a passed ball in the fifth.
