"I guess he pulled one of his NBA moves on you guys," Capt. Barry Zeeman said to reporters at the jail. "How do you miss a guy who is 6-foot-5?"

Rose, 38, pleaded guilty to drunken driving after driving off a snow-covered road last March.

He was found to have a blood alcohol level of .12, above the .08 legal limit in Michigan.

In Michigan, drunken driving a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days in jail, but District Judge Kimberly Small held the remainder of his sentence in abeyance pending the successful completion of 12 months probation including attending alcohol awareness classes, the News reported.
