ATLANTA, July 30 (UPI) -- Tim Hudson hurled seven strong innings and Dan Uggla bashed a three-run homer Saturday, propelling the Atlanta Braves to a 5-1 victory over Florida.

Atlanta broke open a scoreless contest with four runs in the third. Alex Gonzalez led off the frame with a single and two outs later came in to score on Martin Prado's single.
After Freddy Freeman singled, Uggla belted the first pitch from Anibal Sanchez into the left-center field stands for his second three-run homer in two nights, extending his hitting streak to 21 games.
Eric Hinske added a solo shot for the Braves.
Sanchez (6-4) ended by allowing four runs on eight hits in a five-inning start.
