Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
LOS ANGELES, July 27 (UPI) -- Clayton Kershaw won his fourth straight start Tuesday in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 3-2 win over Colorado.
Kershaw (12-4) went 6 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on eight hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
Matt Kemp had two RBI and one run scored for the Dodgers, who have won four straight.
The Dodgers opened the scoring with a three-run fourth. After Rafael Furcal opened the inning by getting on base on a Ty Wigginton error, Andre Ethier drew a walk and Kemp drove in Furcal and Ethier.
Kemp then scored on a sacrifice fly by Juan Rivera.
Jhoulys Chacin (8-8) lost his fourth straight decision, giving up three runs on three hits and a walk over six innings. Todd Helton drove in both Colorado runs with a single in the fifth inning and a groundout in the seventh.
The Rockies have lost four straight.
