CARSON, Calif., July 24 (UPI) -- Justin Braun notched a hat trick Saturday, providing all the game's offense in Chivas USA's 3-0 win over Houston.

The three-goal performance was the second of Braun's career as well as his second of the year -- he also scored three times against Red Bull New York in a May 15 game.

Braun first scored in the 31st minute when Ante Jazic delivered him a pinpoint cross into the box and the Goats' forward one-timed a shot past Houston goalkeeper Tally Hall.

Braun made it 2-0 only 9 minutes later and he completed the hat trick in the 87th minute on another perfect assist from Jazic as Chivas (6-7-8) extended its unbeaten streak to five games.

Houston fell to 5-7-9.
