Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

HARRISON, N.J., July 23 (UPI) -- Thierry Henry scored in the 85th minute for New York Saturday, salvaging a 2-2 tie for the Red Bulls against FC Dallas.
Just as it seemed short-handed New York would go down, Henry notched the equalizer, bringing down the ball, cutting back past a defender and curling a left-footed shot past Dallas goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.
Juan Agudelo had given the Red Bulls (6-5-12) a 1-0 advantage with a goal in the 39th minute.
But Dallas (11-5-6) stormed back to the take the lead with a pair of second-half tallies from Marvin Chavez, with the second coming in the 78th minute as George John knocked down a free kick inside the box for Chavez to fire home.
