BALTIMORE, July 23 (UPI) -- Brian Bergesen logged his first win in two months and Adam Jones drove in a pair of runs Saturday in Baltimore's 3-2 win over the Los Angele Angels.
Bergesen (2-6) got into the win column for the first time since May 14 in his second start since returning to the O's rotation following a demotion to the bullpen.
The right-hander held the Angles to two runs on six hits over six innings. He walked two and struck out out three as the Orioles evened their three-game series against Los Angeles.
Jim Johnson and Koji Uehara each tossed a scoreless inning and Kevin Gregg earned his 16th save for the O's.
Baltimore erased a 2-1 deficit in fifth inning on a Nick Markakis RBI single and Jones' sacrifice fly.
Jones had given Baltimore its first run with a fourth-inning solo homer.
Los Angeles starter Joel Pineiro (5-5) coughed up 11 hits over 5 1/3 frames, surrendering three runs.
Vernon Wells' two-run shot accounted for the Angels' runs.
