CHICAGO, July 18 (UPI) -- Rodrigo Lopez handcuffed the Phillies on one run over 6 2/3 innings Monday, lifting the Chicago Cubs to a 6-1 victory over Philadelphia.
Lopez (2-2) surrendered five hits, didn't issue a walk and struck out three for Chicago, which logged only its fourth win in 12 games.
Aramis Ramirez put the Cubs ahead to stay with a first-inning solo home run and added a sacrifice fly in the third. Carlos Pena went 3-for-3 with a bases-empty shot and two RBI for Chicago.
Phillies starter Roy Halladay (11-4) left the game after four innings under extremely hot and humid conditions at Wrigley Field, breaking a streak of 63 straight road games in which he had gone at least six innings.
Drew Carpenter came on to relieve Halladay with the Phillies trailing, 3-1. It was Halladay's shortest start since June 12, 2009, when he was pitching for Toronto.
Jimmy Rollins drove in the Phillies' only run with a fourth-inning solo homer.
