BUDAPEST, Hungary, July 10 (UPI) -- Italy's Roberta Vinci won six break points on her way to a victory Sunday over Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania in the title match of the Budapest Grand Prix.

Vinci, who held the top-seed in Budapest, logged a 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 victory, overcoming a poor second-set serve and countering Begu's attempts to move ahead in the third by saving three of four break points.

Vinci saved 6-of-12 break points overall, while breaking Begu six times.

The Italian pocketed $37,000 after also notching victories this year at Barcelona and in the Netherlands.

Begu came up a bit short in her bid for her first WTA title.
