SAN JOSE, Calif., July 10 (UPI) -- Jon Busch stopped five shots for San Jose Saturday, preserving the Earthquakes' 0-0 tie with the Philadelphia Union.

The shutout was the fifth of the year for Busch, who caught a break in the final minutes when a shot by Philadelphia's Kyle Nakazawa bounced off the right post.

San Jose (5-6-7) remained winless in six games and logged its fifth draw in 10 home games.

Also earning shutout was Faryd Mondragon, who made a pair of saves for the Union (5-6-7).

The point gave Philadelphia a share of the Eastern Conference lead along with Red Bull New York.
