Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

HOUSTON, July 9 (UPI) -- Danny Cruz and Geoff Cameron scored second-half goals Saturday and the Houston Dynamo registered a 2-0 win over Toronto FC.
Cruz gave Houston all the offense it would need in the 50th minute, scoring his first goal of the season after slipping a low shot past Stefan Frei into the lower-left corner.
Cameron doubled the advantage for Houston (5-6-8) in the 81st when he collected a loose ball in the box after a failed clearing attempt and scored into the bottom-left corner, his third marker of the season.
Toronto (3-9-9) again failed to win on the road, extending its winless streak away from home to 10 in a row. The Canadian side has just one win in its last 12 games overall.
