MIAMI, July 9 (UPI) -- Ricky Nolasco tossed a complete-game seven-hitter and Logan Morrison hit a bases-clearing triple Saturday in Florida's 6-1 victory over Houston.
Nolasco (6-5) threw his sixth career complete game, holding the Astros to one run, issuing only one walk while striking out eight.
Coupled with a hard-luck loss in his previous start against Philadelphia, the right-hander has allowed only one run in his last 16 innings.
Morrison's three-run triple in the fifth inning broke open a close game, giving the Marlins a 6-0 lead, and John Buck added a solo homer for Florida, which won its fourth straight.
Houston's Brett Myers (3-9) lasted only 4 1/3 innings, surrendering six runs (five earned) on four hits as the Astros lost for the 13th time in 15 contests.
