
ARLINGTON, Texas, July 3 (UPI) -- Hanley Ramirez homered twice, including a first-inning grand slam, sparking the Florida Marlins to a 9-5 interleague victory over Texas Saturday.
Ramirez finished 3-for-5 with five RBI, also socking a solo homer in the seventh, as the Marlins banged out 13 hits and evened their three-game series against the Rangers.
Logan Morrison added a solo homer and Omar Infante had a sacrifice fly for Florida, which notched its first win in five games against Texas dating to last season.
Steve Cishek (1-1) earned the win despite allowing three runs (two earned) on a pair of hits over 2 2/3 innings of relief. He entered the game with one out in the third after Marlins starter Brad Hand allowed homers to Ian Kinsler and Josh Hamilton.
Texas starter Derek Holland (6-4) didn't get out of the first inning, yielding five runs on four hits in two-thirds of an inning.
Hamilton ended with a pair of homers for the Rangers, going 3-for-5 with three RBI.
