MINNEAPOLIS, July 1 (UPI) -- Talks between the NFL and locked-out players apparently will resume after the holiday weekend.

The NFL Network said Friday the two sides, after four straight days of talks, were closer to an agreement on how to divide revenues.

Judge Arthur Boylan a court-appointed mediator, oversaw the talks in Minneapolis. Apparently, negotiations will resume next week in New York.

NFL training camps are supposed to open late this month.

The league and players are awaiting a decision from the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis on the legality of the lockout, which started March 12 after efforts to reach a new collective bargaining agreement broke down.
