
PARIS, July 1 (UPI) -- James Morrison had five birdies and finished with his second straight 5-under 66 Friday to take a one-shot lead into the third round of the Open de France.
Morrison finished the day at 10-under 132, one stroke better than first-round co-leader Richard Green, who was 11-under through 13 holes Friday before a double bogey on the seventh and settled for a 3-under 68.
Mark Foster also shot a 68 Friday to finish the day in third at six-under 136.
Richie Ramsay (68), Thorbjorn Olesen (71) and Matthew Nixon (69) are tied for fourth at 5-under 137.
Graeme Storm -- who shared the first-round lead with Green -- posted three bogeys and a quadruple bogey at 18 Friday on the way to a 4-over 75, landing him in 14th at 2-under 140.
Defending champion Miguel Angel Jimenez missed the cut after shooting a 79 Friday. Bubba Watson, appearing in his first European Tour event, also failed to make the cut.
