Bryan twins in Wimbledon finals -- again

LONDON, July 1 (UPI) -- Bob and Mike Bryan of the United States reached the Wimbledon doubles finals Friday in their quest for an 11th Grand Slam championship.

The top-seeded 33-year-old twins, who won the Wimbledon championship in 2006, defeated France's Michael Llodra and Serbian Nenad Zimonjic 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (8-10), 6-7 (4-7), 9-7.

The Bryans, in the Wimbledon finals for the fifth time, will take on Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Horia Tecau of Romania in the finals Saturday.

Lindstedt and Tecau advanced with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 semifinal win Thursday over Germany's Christopher Kas and Austrian Alexander Peya.
