
SEATTLE, June 29 (UPI) -- Brian McCann went 4-for-5 with two RBI and the Atlanta Braves scored three runs in the seventh inning Tuesday to edge Seattle 5-4.
Dan Uggla added a solo home run for the Braves.
Seattle took a 3-0 lead after four innings. Ichiro Suzuki had a solo homer in the first inning and Jack Cust added a solo shot in the fourth.
The Braves bounced back with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings, followed by three in the seventh to take the lead for the first time in the game.
Tommy Hanson (9-4) dug himself into a hole early but came away with the win after allowing three runs on eight hits with eight strikeouts over six innings. Craig Kimbrel picked up his 22nd save.
Michael Pineda (7-5) went 6 1/3 innings for Seattle. He surrendered five runs on four hits and fanned five.
