
ARLINGTON, Texas, June 25 (UPI) -- Lucas Duda went 4-for-5 with a pair of two-run doubles Saturday and the New York Mets banged out 17 hits in their 14-5 interleague rout of Texas.
Carlos Beltran got a two-run triple among his three hits, adding an RBI single, and Josh Thole contributed two hits and a pair of RBI for the Mets, who evened their three-game series with the Rangers at one win apiece.
Willie Harris and Ruben Tejada added two hits and an RBI each in New York's win.
Jonathon Niese (7-6) worked 5 2/3 innings to pick up the victory, allowing two runs on six hits, walking two and striking out seven.
Alexi Ogando (7-3) was lit up for six runs (three earned) on eight hits before being yanked after three innings for Texas.
Nelson Cruz cracked a two-run homer while Michael Young and Adrian Beltre added solo shots for the Rangers.
