BALTIMORE, June 25 (UPI) -- Joey Votto smacked a pair of homers, driving in five runs, and the Cincinnati Reds went deep five times Saturday in their 10-5 interleague win over Baltimore.
Votto's three-run shot in the third inning put the Reds ahead to stay, and he added a two-run bomb in the fifth as Cincinnati cruised to a series-evening victory at Camden Yards in a game that saw nine total homers.
Scott Rolen hit a two-run blast while Jonny Gomes and Drew Stubbs added solo shots for the Reds, who pounded out 13 hits in the victory.
Bronson Arroyo (7-6) earned the win despite allowing five runs on nine hits through 6 1/3 innings. The Reds right-hander walked three and struck out six.
Baltimore's Brian Matusz (1-3) was rocked for six runs on nine hits before being yanked after only 4 2/3 innings.
The Orioles connected for four homers themselves. Nick Markakis launched a two-run shot while J.J. Hardy, Adam Jones and Matt Wieters all contributed solo clouts in the loss.
