MUNICH, Germany, June 25 (UPI) -- Mark Foster's six-under 66 Saturday placed him atop the leader board after three rounds at the BMW International Open in Munich.
Foster, who is seeking his first European Tour win since 2003, carded seven birdies and a bogey to move past second-round leaders Henrik Stenson and George Coetzee with a 14-under 202 over 54 holes.
Coetzee and four other contenders finished in second place Saturday, two strokes behind Foster.
Coetzee had a fairly forgettable round of 70 after shooting 67s on the first two days of the tourney. He ended the day in a pack that included former U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen and Sergio Garcia, whose 64 was the best round of the day.
Stenson finished with a 1-over 73 even with birdies on the final three holes and slid into 10th place at 9-under 207.
