MLB: Milwaukee 9, Chicago Cubs 5

CHICAGO, June 16 (UPI) -- Casey McGehee highlighted a three-run fifth with a two-run double Wednesday and Milwaukee went on to outslug the Chicago Cubs 9-5.

Four Brewers drove in two runs each as part of a 14-hit attack, allowing Milwaukee to snap a two-game skid.

Corey Hart had three hits and drove in runs with a fourth-inning single and a fifth-inning double.

Milwaukee survived a three-run homer by Reed Johnson in the fifth that briefly brought the Cubs within one.

Starter Chris Narveson (4-4) lasted 5 1/3 innings to get the victory. He surrendered four runs on five hits while striking out five.

Milwaukee got to Carlos Zambrano (5-4) for nine hits and five runs in six innings.
