Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., June 15 (UPI) -- New England's Rajko Lekic missed an open net from 10 yards out in the second half Wednesday, forcing the Revolution to settle for an 0-0 tie with Toronto.
Both sides have struggled through lackluster play for much of the season. New England (3-7-5) had lost its four previous matches. Toronto (2-5-9) has gone seven games without a victory.
Alan Gordon, who scored twice in Toronto's previous game, had a header cleared off the line by Kevin Alston. Lekic's miscue on a header attempt came in the 58th minute.
New England has managed just two goals in its last five outings.
