CHICAGO, June 12 (UPI) -- Mark Teahen scored the go-ahead run on a seventh-inning error Sunday, boosting the Chicago White Sox to a 5-4 victory over Oakland.
With the score tied 3-3, Teahen drew a lead-off walk from A's starter Guillermo Moscoso (2-3). One out later, Moscoso issued another walk to Alexi Ramirez and was pulled in favor of Grant Balfour.
Carlos Quentin then hit a grounder to third baseman Scott Sizemore, who threw wildly to second, allowing Teahen to come home with the tie-breaking run. Paul Konerko followed with an RBI single for a much-needed insurance run.
Phil Humber (6-3) notched his third win in three starts for the Chisox. The A's nicked him for four hits and two walks that resulted in three runs. Humber carded seven strikeouts.
Sergio Santos racked up his 12th save in the ninth despite allowing a run on Jemile Weeks' RBI single.
Adam Dunn clouted a three-run homer for Chicago, which won for the ninth time in 13 games.
Sizemore's homer in the top of the seventh had forged a 3-3 tie for the A's.
