MIAMI, June 12 (UPI) -- Daniel Hudson limited the Marlins to one run over six innings and Stephen Drew drove in two runs Sunday in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 5-1 win over Florida.
Hudson (7-5) worked around eight hits and three walks over six innings as the Marlins stranded nine runners in scoring position with two outs during the contest.
The right-hander recorded nine strikeouts as Arizona won for the second time in three games against Florida.
Drew, who finished 3-for-4, socked a two-run double in the first inning, putting the D-backs ahead for good, and Ryan Roberts added a solo homer in the victory.
Rookie Brad Hand (0-2) absorbed the loss in his second major-league start, surrendering four runs (three earned) on five hits in a five-inning effort.
Gaby Sanchez drove in the only run for struggling Florida, which lost for the 10th time in 11 games.
