MINNEAPOLIS, June 11 (UPI) -- Scott Baker tossed a five-hit complete game and Delmon Young went 3-for-5 with two RBI Saturday in the Minnesota Twins' 8-1 rout of Texas.
Baker (4-4) notched his fourth career complete game, shutting the Rangers down with a 112-pitch gem. The Minnesota right-hander didn't issue a walk and struck out seven as the Twins improved to 8-3 in June.
Minnesota scored five runs during a first-inning uprising, highlighted by a two-run single from Brian Dinkelman, and Young made it 6-0 with an RBI single in the second.
Alexi Casilla added three hits, an RBI and a run scored while Ben Revere chipped in with a pair of hits and a diving, second-inning catch in center field on a drive off the bat of Adrian Beltre.
Colby Lewis (5-7) lasted only 1 1/3 innings, his shortest outing of the year, and was reached for six runs on seven hits.
The American League West-leading Rangers lost for the fourth time in six games.
