
MILWAUKEE, June 11 (UPI) -- Zack Greinke notched his sixth win in seven starts and Rickie Weeks hit a go-ahead, two-run homer Saturday in Milwaukee's 5-3 victory over St. Louis.
Greinke (6-1) held the Cardinals to three runs on seven hits in a seven-inning start, issuing no walks and striking out nine. The right-hander won his fourth straight outing, during which he has racked up 31 strikeouts in 27 innings.
Kameron Loe tossed a scoreless eighth and John Axford collected his 17th save for the Brewers, who pulled to within a half-game of St. Louis atop the National League Central.
Weeks' two-run shot rallied Milwaukee from a 2-1 deficit and triggered a four-run uprising, capped by Corey Hart's two-run double.
St. Louis starter Chris Carpenter (1-6) was touched for five runs on five hits over six innings.
Lance Berkman socked a solo homer for the Cards.
