BIRMINGHAM, England, June 9 (UPI) -- Ana Ivanovic and Peng Shuai posted straight-set victories Thursday in third-round action at the Aegon Classic tennis tournament in England.

Ivanovic, seeded No. 2 after given wild-card entry into the draw, raced past 13th-seeded Rebecca Marino 6-3, 6-2. Ivanovic dropped only 10 points over nine services games and won 79 percent of the points on serve.

The third-seeded Peng, like Ivanovic, didn't face a break point in a 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 win over Heather Wilson. Peng lost three points on serve in the second set, during which she finished off three of four break-point chances.

Fourth-seeded Daniela Hantuchova and No. 14-seeded Magdalena Rybarikova also won Thursday. Along with Ivanovic and Peng they are the only seeded players left as the tournament heads into quarterfinal play.

Hantuchova defeated 16th-seeded Alla Kudryavtseva 6-4, 6-2 and Rybarikova dominated the second and third sets in topping Arina Rodionova 6-7 (1-7), 6-0, 6-1.
