Lincicome birdies final hole for LPGA win

GALLOWAY, N.J., June 5 (UPI) -- Brittany Lincicome carded a birdie on the 18th hole Sunday, seizing a one-shot victory at the ShopRite LPGA Classic at Dolce Seaview Resort in New Jersey.

Lincicome earned her fourth LPGA Tour win with a round of 5-under-par 66 that left her at 11-under 202 for the tournament.

It was Lincicome's first win since talking the 2009 Kraft Nabisco Championship.

Cristie Kerr, who led after the second round, compiled a 2-under 69 for a share of second place with Jivai Shin (66) at minus-10.

Alone in fourth place at 9-under-par 204 was Catriona Matthew, who finished the tourney with a 2-under 69.
