
KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 4 (UPI) -- Alexi Casilla went 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI and the Minnesota Twins collected 13 hits Saturday in their 7-2 victory over Kansas City.
Casilla notched RBI singles in the third and seventh innings and Michael Cuddyer added a solo homer and a run-scoring single for Minnesota, which won its third straight over the Royals.
Nick Blackburn (5-4) earned the victory in a five-inning effort before leaving the game with back tightness. He allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk. He struck out two.
Five relievers teamed up to blank the Royals the rest of the way.
Kansas City starter Luke Hochevar (3-8) stretched his personal winless streak to six starts, yielding six runs on 11 hits over six innings.
Eric Hosmer knocked in a run for the Royals.
