
BOSTON, May 31 (UPI) -- Alexei Ramirez banged out four hits, including a pair of run-scoring singles that sparked the Chicago White Sox to a 10-7 defeat of Boston Tuesday.
Gordon Beckham went 3-for-5 with an RBI, Juan Pierre added a two-run single and A.J. Pierzynski contributed two hits and a run driven in for the White Sox, who won a sixth straight game at Fenway Park for the first time since 1958-59.
Phil Humber (4-3) earned the victory with a 7 2/3-inning performance. The right-hander registered his fifth straight start without a loss, yielding four runs on nine hits, walking one and fanning five.
Boston starter Alfredo Aceves (2-1) was rocked for six runs on eight hits through five innings.
The Red Sox, who lost to Chicago for the 12th time in 14 games overall, got a three-run homer from David Ortiz and a solo shot from Jason Varitek.
