COMMERCE CITY, Colo., May 29 (UPI) -- Substitute Ryan Smith found the net in the 75th minute Saturday, salvaging a 1-1 tie for Sporting Kansas City against Colorado.

Smith, who entered the game in the 46th for Seth Sinovic, took a Teal Bunbury pass and blasted it into the net with his left foot for the equalizer, his fourth goal of the season.

Kansas City (1-6-2) broke a five-game losing streak as it plays its first 10 games away from home. The team is awaiting the June 9 opening of its new stadium.

Conor Casey, meanwhile, collected his first goal of the season in the 13th minute for Colorado (4-3-6), which has drawn its last five matches.
