ATLANTA, May 29 (UPI) -- Jair Jurrjens hurled eight innings of one-run ball Sunday, boosting the Atlanta Braves to a 2-1 decision over Cincinnati.

Jurrjens (7-1) allowed six hits, walked two and struck out five. He yielded only a second-inning solo homer to Jay Bruce en route to the victory, which gave the Braves the rubber match of a three-game series with the Reds.

The right-hander has allowed two or fewer earned runs in each of his nine starts this year while lowering his ERA to 1.51.

Craig Kimbrel racked up his 15th save in the ninth as Atlanta won for the fourth time in five games.

Martin Prado bashed a two-run homer in the sixth to erase a 1-0 Braves deficit.

Johnny Cueto (2-2) took the hard-luck loss for the Reds, surrendering two runs on five hits over eight innings, walking three and fanning five.
