HOUSTON, May 29 (UPI) -- Xavier Nady stroked a go-ahead, two-run double in the eighth inning Sunday, handing the Arizona Diamondbacks a series sweep with a 4-2 decision over Houston.
Trailing 2-1, the Diamondbacks got a one-out single in the eighth from Ryan Roberts, who stole second on Justin Upton's strikeout.
After Chris Young was intentionally walked, Nady sliced a 1-0 pitch from Jeff Fulchino (1-3) into the right field corner. Roberts scored easily and Young slid home with the go-ahead run just under the tag of catcher J.R. Towles.
Juan Miranda then plated Nady with a single for an insurance run and the D-backs logged a three-game sweep of the Astros while winning their sixth straight game and 13th in 15 contests.
Aaron Heilman (4-0) earned the win with a scoreless seventh in relief of Josh Collmenter, who held the Astros to two runs on four hits over six frames.
J.J. Putz tossed a scoreless ninth to nail down his 16th save.
Astros starter J.A. Happ pitched well and also socked a solo homer. He yielded one run on two hits over a six-inning effort.
