IRVING, Texas, May 28 (UPI) -- Ryan Palmer wrestled all day with windy conditions but managed a 3-over 73 Saturday to keep the top spot after three rounds of the Byron Nelson Championship.

Palmer and second-place finisher Sergio Garcia could complete only a single birdie between them at the TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving, Texas.

Palmer ended three rounds at 5-under-par 205, one better than second round co-leader Garcia, who settled for a 4-over 74.

The biggest move of the day went to Arjun Atwal, who fired a 3-under 67 to leap 26 spots into third place at 3-under 207.

Also sharing third was Ryuji Imada, who shot an even-par 70, while Matt Kuchar (68), Joe Ogilvie (72) and Gary Woodland (68) knotted for fifth place at minus-2.
