PARIS, May 28 (UPI) -- Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray cruised to wins in the third round of the French Open in Paris Saturday.

Nadal, ranked No. 1 in the world, knocked off Croatia's Antonio Veic 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 in an efficient 1 hour, 41 minute rout.

Nadal broke Veic nine times and moved on to the next step in his quest for a sixth Paris championship. He will face Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia in the Round of 16 after Ljubicic downed Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 6-3, 7-6(6), 6-4.

The fourth-seeded Murray, meanwhile, played through a twisted ankle and dispatched German Michael Berrer 6-2, 6-3, 6-2. He will next tangle with Serbia's Viktor Troicki.

Red-hot Djokovic kept his remarkable unbeaten streak alive Saturday, wrapping up his darkness-suspended match from Friday with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro.

The Serb star ran his streak to 40-0 this year. Djokovic is trying to match John McEnroe for the best-ever start to an ATP year. He needs two more wins to equal the American's 1984 feat.

Djokovic goes on to face 13th-seeded Frenchman Richard Gasquet in the fourth round.
