COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 28 (UPI) -- Emmanuel Ekpo scored a second-half goal from close in Saturday, helping the Columbus Crew forge a 3-3 tie with Chivas USA.

With the Crew trailing 3-2, Ekpo pulled them level in the 64th minute, unleashing a right-footed blast from in tight after gaining control of the ball and turning on it.

Andres Mendoza found the net twice for Columbus (3-3-5), scoring in the 17th and 52nd minutes. His second goal equalized the match at 2-2.

Jorge Flores, however, put Chivas USA (3-4-4) back up 5 minutes later.

Nick LaBrocca and Andrew Boyens also found the net for the Goats, who played a man down late in the game after Flores was given a second yellow card.
