TORONTO, May 27 (UPI) -- Yunel Escobar snapped a tie with an RBI double in the seventh Friday and the Toronto Blue Jays went on to down the Chicago White Sox 4-2.
Chicago starter Mark Buehrle worked in and out of trouble while giving up nine hits and was locked in a 2-2 contest heading into the seventh.
Buehrle (4-4) gave up a leadoff single to Jose Molina in that inning and Molina was erased at second on a fielder's choice grounder from Jayson Nix. Escobar then doubled to deep right, bringing home Nix with the go-ahead run.
Molina added an RBI single in the eighth to complete the scoring.
Casey Janssen (2-0) picked up the win with one inning of relief. He came in to replace starter Kyle Drabek, who gave up two runs on three hits over 6 2/3 innings.
Jon Rauch gave up a hit, but struck out two in the ninth for his sixth save.
