BALTIMORE, May 26 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero singled with one-out on the 12th inning Thursday, driving in Robert Andino and giving the Baltimore Orioles a 6-5 win over Kansas City.

Andino led off the 12th with a double and, after an out, Royals reliever Louis Coleman (0-2) intentionally walked Nick Markakis.

Guerrero took a pitch for a strike but bounced the next one up the middle, allowing Andino to score easily.

Jeremy Accardo (3-1) picked up the win with two innings of perfect relief.

Kansas City used an Alex Gordon RBI double in the fourth to tie the score at 5-5 and while neither team scored for the next seven innings, both teams had their chances. Baltimore, for example, loaded the bases with no outs in the 11th but was unable to score.

The Royals scored four times in the second with Melky Cabrera's two-run single the big hit.

Baltimore's Nolan Reimold, who finished with four hits, hit a solo home run in the bottom of the inning and put the Orioles ahead 5-4 in the third with a three-run home run. He has three homers on the season.
