LOS ANGELES, May 25 (UPI) -- An NBA official said the Los Angeles Lakers are offering a deal to former Cleveland Cavaliers Coach Mike Brown to take over coaching duties for the team.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to not being authorized to speak publicly about the deal, said Brown is being offered a three-year contract worth between $4 million and $4.5 million per season, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
