ARLINGTON, Texas, May 25 (UPI) -- C.J. Wilson and three relievers combined to hold Chicago to one run Wednesday, handing the Texas Rangers a 2-1 win over the White Sox.
Wilson (5-3) limited the Chisox to a single score on five hits over 6 1/3 innings, walking none and striking out five while breaking a personal three-game winless streak.
Mark Lowe and Darren Oliver teamed up for 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief and Neftali Felix recorded his 10th save for the Rangers, who claimed the rubber match of a three-game series.
Texas got both of its runs in the third on RBIs from Mitch Moreland and Ian Kinsler.
Gavin Floyd (5-4) took the hard-luck loss, yielding only one earned run on three hits over seven frames for the White Sox.
Paul Konerko drove in Chicago's only run.
